Q - I live outside the UK can I order online
A - No.

Q - I live outside the UK can I order by telephone
A - Yes, any order request for delivery outside the UK will be considered on an individual basis. Delivery rates will be more expensive than the UK rates quoted on the web site and delivery time scales will also be longer. We do not guarantee to accept orders from customers that live outside of the UK.

Q - Can I have my goods delivered to a different addres
A - Yes, you can have the goods delivered to a different address but you must fill in the address the Credit or Debit card is registered to first when filling in the order form. An alternative delivery address form will then be displayed. The delivery address must be one that is within the UK and can be a private home or commercial work address.

Q - Will my delivery have to be signed for
A - Yes.

Q - How long will my order take to arrive
A - At the checkout you will be given the choice of 1-3, 1-5 or 1-7 working days for delivery of your order. This is working days from cleared payment and does not include the day your order is submitted, weekends or bank holidays.
Guaranteed next working day delivery is available on selected items at extra cost and does not included the day the order was placed.

A - Yes, we don't sell display models, seconds, bankrupt stock, refurbished, reconditioned, managers specials or returns passed off as new. Everything is simply as advertised. Brand New.

Q - Do you recommend extended guarantees
A - No.

Q - Can I purchase an extended guarantees
A - Yes.

Q - Are Extended Guarantees value for money
A - Appliancehome Limited won't insist or recommend you purchase a colourful piece of expensive paper called an extended guarantee. In many cases these guarantee contracts are worth no more than your consumer rights under the sale of goods act, which you are entitled to and are free.
Companies have become obsessed with these contracts as a way of generating extra profits at the expense of you the customer. In reality suggesting that the products that they sell are not up to the job or will require very expensive repairs in a short period of time is hardly the best way to recommend the purchase of a product. If you request a product with a poor history with regard to quality or service from us, even if we could supply the product to you we simply won't.
Quality manufactures such as Corby offer a comprehensive 3-year guarantee on all its product range as standard, free. Dyson and Micromark have included a minimum 2-year guarantee on most of their products for many years now. Hotpoint offer a free 5-year parts guarantee on most of its products without you purchasing an extended guarantee.
All facts that most retailers refuse to tell the customer about because they wish you to purchase an extended guarantee from them.
The consumers association and trading standards are investigating the hard sell of these contracts.

Q - What is the guarantee terms and conditions.
A - Our Product Quality Guarantee's If your purchase should develop a fault within 28 days of purchase we will repair, replace or refund it, terms and conditions apply. Your purchase should be in as new condition with the original packaging and accessories still in tact. Some products such as shavers are exempt from our replacement or refund guarantee due to hygiene reasons. Goods not used in accordance with the manufactures instructions or for commercial use are excluded. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

Q - Can I exchange the goods ordered
A - Appliancehome Limited is confident that you will be happy with your purchase. Our gift exchange policy offers you the additional benefit that if your purchase is unopened, and you wish to exchange it within 7 days simply return it to us at your own cost with the original receipt and we will exchange it or refund your money, terms and conditions apply. Special order goods and spare parts are exempt from our gift exchange guarantee. Refunds will not include the delivery costs to deliver the goods to you or return delivery charges. Some items such as software and special ordered goods are exempt from the gift exchange guarantee.
